Engine & Specs

The buyers can choose to purchase the SP in dual-cab 4×4 pickup form only, which comes with an automatic or manual six-speed transmission. The power comes from the Isuzu 3.0-liter turbodiesel 4-cylinder producing 140kW and 450Nm. The BT-50 SP is also equipped with “Driftwood” leather and black suede interior trim as well as chrome black wheels with wheel arch extensions.

At the lower end of the spectrum is the brand-new XS version. The power comes from a brand-new Mazda 1.9-liter turbodiesel 4-cylinder engine that produces 140kW as well as 350 Nm. This season (through August) Mazda has sold 10,914 models of its BT-50 in Australia according to the VFACTS data. This is an increase from 6881 units in the exact eight-month period the previous year. The models that were revealed today will be available in January 2022. Pricing is not yet announced.
